I was first introduced to Bayou Some Soap when a dear friend gave me some for an early Christmas gift. It smelled like Christmas! I loved it! I thanked my friend and asked her where she bought it because I’d like to get some for my friends and family. To my surprise, she was part of our Church Family. I had such a great time shopping. These soaps are beautiful and smell amazing. Lastly, The service I received was incredible. I reached out to Jessica and team, and was a happy customer within 24 hours. I am telling you “You should Bayou some too!”

I've struggle with dry, cracked skin during the cold dry months. Especially, these days from washing my hands all the time and using hand sanitizer. My hands would hurt so bad and when I used lotion it would burn. When I found out Ryan and Jessica started making homemade soap I was so excited to try it. The moment I got my hands on the soap the first thing I noticed was the amazing smell!! Once I started using it I was hooked. I find myself washing my hands all the time! I have a bar at every sink and shower in my house, I even brought one to work! I have been using my soap for two months now. I’m so impressed how moisturized my skin is. Apple sage, cherry almond and coconut mango are my favorite!!! Galactic skies is my husband’s favorite. After his showers my entire room smells like a spa, I love it! We also use the Bare Naked bar during hunting season! The soap savers definitely help my bars last longer! I’m very happy with my purchase and can’t imagine going back to start bought soap!!

I LOVE Bayou Some Soap. I used to use Dove Sensitive but switched to using BSS exclusively and my skin is so thankful! My two favorites are the Mocha and Apple Sage - they work great to remove makeup and nourish my skin. I used to have really oily skin and loads of blackheads. Over the last few months, I’ve noticed the blackheads are not actually black anymore, there is fewer build up and I think my pores are even shrinking! I have switched my kids over to the body bars as well and am even trying out the shampoo bar on my son who get eczema on his scalp. Praising God my friend Jess decided to start this new venture!

You guys this is the BEST and prettiest soap I’ve ever used and it’s made with LOVE! It makes my whole bathroom smell amazing! My skin feels great! Plus it looks so pretty in my bathrooms!! We were not “bar soap” people until we tried it and now our whole family is hooked! Plus it’s fun to support other small businesses.

I bought soap from Jess & Ryan when they were first starting out. I wanted to help out a friend & support her new business but with the added bonus that the soap looked & smelled amazing! I LOVED it so much that I not only bought it for all our family members for Christmas (their gift sets are darling!!), I put a bar in each of our bathrooms too! As I said, I loved the smell & the designs are so fun! What I wasn’t expecting was the effect it would have on my skin. I noticed after several weeks that I wasn’t using hand lotion nearly as much & my hands weren’t drying out...in the middle of winter! It was the soap!! To say our family are fans is an understatement! You have got to Bayou Some Soap!!

Our Soap Story
Life is full of mountain tops and valley moments. Our soap story was birthed out of a 2020 year, that really needs no explanation. Ryan planned a much needed get away weekend for us to St. Augustine, FL and the Airbnb we stayed at offered homemade soap. Of course, I wanted to know if the lady sold the soap and wanted to purchase some. On our way home from St. Augustine, Ryan and I watched "how to make soap" videos on YouTube for three and a half hours. By the end of the week, we attempted to make our first batch of soap. After many batches, we now have what you get to experience today. This new passion has added a fun hobby to our marriage with incredible skin benefits. Thank you for supporting us and this new adventure God has placed in our path.
With love,
Ryan & Jessica Hebert
